need for stereo ready graphic platform

Hello,

I would like to build a very specific platform and I will be interested
to receive any comments/info that could be provided to me.

The platform I need to build has the following requirements:

-Need to generate a stereo SVGA signal. This is the most important
requirement.
The reason why I need this is because I am displaying stereoscopic
graphics (3D
images created by displaying a different view to the right and left eye
at the same
time, like in the real world ) to the user. The way to produce this
signal is to use
a graphics card with hardware quad buffering. Very few graphics card
support
this at this time. Finding this hardware for notebook is just
impossible or is just
not portable anymore, that is where is my problem. So, the first
requirement is
either to have a graphics chip with quad buffering available or to have
a PCI port
available so that I can adapt a Diamond GL Pro 1000 that support quad
buffering.

so first I need -> PCI or AGP external port, just one

-Run Java application: Need at least 128 Mb of mem and Pentium will be
really
nice for this API since it is pretty slow from my experience

-OS: Linux or Windows NT but Linux will be certainly the choice if we
find all
 hardware drivers

-portable. Which implies we need a PC104 / STD32 / compact / ATX /
single-board (or whatever other existing, I am new in this field ) type
of form factor
that we can in what way or another make light (less that 5-10 lbs) and
small (need
to fit in a back pack).

-battery powered, need to find a way to power it with "lighter than car
battery" battery pack Single board computer needs typical from what I
have seen 5V at
4A, is it possible to find such batteries nowdays? let me know please

-four serial ports, to communicate with other components. The 4th serial
port can be
 a mouse/keyboard port

-disk on chip if possible to memorize application

-a communication port to load the application (ethernet, serial,
PCMCIA...)

-no keyboard, no LCD, no drive for disk of whatever format

Please let me know if I can build a system with the described specs using
your products. Feel free to send me at the following address some catalog of
the available products

thanks a lot
