New Xybernaut patent

I was reading the press release on the interchangeable core patent. I do not
see why this is better. The only comment that seemed positive for wearables
was that they could produce more cores at a lower cost.
Does this mean that I have to switch cores between my cell and pc if I want
to make a call. Why not just make a program that does the same thing with
one device vs. 4. I already carry a cell, PDA, and lug my laptop. I think
this is a step back for wearable computing.
I'm new to this so set me straight.
Thanks,
Jason
