Twiddler for PalmPilot?

I was wondering if anyone has interfaced a Twiddler
(http://www.handykey.com/) to a Palm Pilot. It looks like they have a
driver for it, but it looks like a non-trivial modification.

I was thinking of making something Wearable, and affordable with minimal
modifications...

Start with a Palm Pilot, they are small, light, and durable, and have a
HUGE amount of software already running on them.

Get some industral strength velcro, and cut a piece the exact size of
the back of the Palm Pilot. Then cut it so that the battery or anything
needed can still slide out and glue the velcro on the back of it.

Next, make a forarm/wrist cover/band that has a velcro pad to attach the
palm pilot too... Now you have CPU, memory, powersupply and output all
in place... then comes the hard part, input.

http://www.handykey.com/ for up to 50wpm keyboard input, and mouse
input. Only thing that is needed is the interface... Which is where the
problem lies....

But, when you do the cost/benifit analysis, you have a cheap (compared
to $2000 to $5000 system) system, that has a ton of software, you only
lack the true HUD.

I think it's a cool idea, and something I would love to have, anyone done
anything similar?
