boo. i was wondering if anyone had any links, ideas, input, or personal experiences with building a computer into a car. i'm thinking of a name/address storing system with enough power to run a Mapsco database, maybe play MP3s and whatever else i can come up with it to do. Pentium 200ish, probably. windows, unix, who cares - the part i am sketchiest on is the power pull. i don't know how wise it is to put a computer on a 12-15V car battery without something nice and malleable in between to take the extra juice. anyway, anyone have anything? thanks. scott lee (ixoye)
