Somebody mentioned talking to someone at Corel and they said the
netwinder can be plugged into a cigarette lighter.  Given the small
size, low cost, and the fact that it runs linux this sounds like a great
way to go.  Not sure what you would do for a display though.  Ideally, I
suppose you'd want some sort of projection onto the windshield, but this
may not be easy to do. A standard monitor that you could just plug in
would also require a 120VAC signal.

Anyone know of a vga display that can run off a 12V car battery?
