SanDisk cards are 3 mm thick. I tried pushing a 4.8 mm screwdriver
into my Nikon Coolpix's compactflash slot and it just barely fit after
pushing the plastic sides apart. It will be interesting to see which
cameras and other devices widen their slots to accommodate 5 mm.
The other two dimensions are standard.
