I think that this is the price for the full optical development of the units.
They electrical part is  sold at $7500 and contains an LCD and a driving
circuitry to plug the microdisplay to a VGA port. Reading their whitepapers
around the net, they plan to enter the market with a $50 microdisplay by the
end of this year. Now it's november, I would like to see something out for
Christmas, in a way to buy it online somewhere and play with it in the
January timeframe. Please let me know if you discover something.
