Hacking Viewfinders

Does anyone have any experience in the cheap HMD area?	I'm wanting to rig up
a viewfinder or something simular to a laptop with NTSC/PAL Output built into
it.  Once I get this done, I'll be ready to start from scratch with an PC/104
based wearable.  What I'd like to know is what, if any, viewfinders are cheap
and reliable displays for a computer, and How you would hook one up to an
NTSC cable without the Camcorder in between?
