Philips is selling Scuba at their website for $99.00 each NOW.
It may be worth getting one as an experimental device. I
checked at retailers and found it has been removed from sale
at Electronics Boutique and CompUSA, and I have no idea if
there have been complaints or discontinued. For all I know,
the unit might break down the first time you drop it.

An excellent thorough review on the SCUBA ergonometrics from
a comp.sys.wearables standpoint is at:

The SCUBA unit is supposed to have a built-in shutdown
timer at 30 minutes or so to keep you from using it too
long without break.
