Wireless Wearable Phoneline extension

If you have utility for a wireless data device that
extends the phone line, then Panasonic made a commercially
available solution for you. It's not so well publicized
but take a look at it via:

Panasonic Data Link (wireless telephone line)
   http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_electronics/telephone/datalink.htm

   Panasonic KX TCL-100 Data Link
   http://www.prodcat.panasonic.com/shop/product.asp?sku=KX-TCL100

One end plugs into your phone line, the other has an RJ-11 plug
for whatever device you desire: palmtop modem, laptop modem, or
even your DIVX (oops, that is not wearable).

In Seattle, the list price is $219.95 and they sell for $184
over the counter at one of the places near a shopping mall.

Does anyone know of a smaller or longer range product of
this type?
