I think you're saying "how should the interface of a wearable be different from that of a desktop machine?" If I'm not understanding you, then please ignore the following. Of course, everything that follows is just my opinion. The three primary things that I want out of a wearable are memory augmentation, navigation (mapping) software, and unobtrusiveness. Until Professor Mann's sunglasses, or the MicroOptical glasses, became common and cheap, these functions can probably best be fulfilled with a discreet voice-output interface. Obviously, I need some kind of input as well...a small, portable keyboard such as the Twiddler is the best bet that I know of, since it can be concealed in a pocket or holster when not needed. Even better would be a Twiddler that talked to my system through a personal radio network, rather than needing a cable. I don't need a big monitor or particularly hi-res...just a few lines of text is fine. I probably don't need a mouse (although the Twiddler is a mouse as well as a keyboard, so that's covered too). I guess that's a decent first cut...is that what you were asking?
