Looks like it might be the same type of connector that is used on the Via II
wearable PC for the same purpose.

For the Via II we made a couple of connector assemblies using AMP's CHAMP
0.8mm High Density Interconnection System connectors. (see

). We chose the types 787131-3 (plugs) and 787191-1 (backshell kits for
the plugs). They were purchased from a local AMP retailer who ordered
them as samples.

I don't know if there are other manufacturers for these connectors but I
believe they are best known as SCSI VHDCI connectors.

BTW, probably the best way to get sharp photographs of small objects
like those connectors is to use a scanner. It doesn't matter much if the
object isn't exactly flat. Parts of it which are 1 cm above the scanner
glass still look pretty sharp in the picture.
