For the Via II we made a couple of connector assemblies using AMP's CHAMP 0.8mm High Density Interconnection System connectors. (see http://connect.amp.com/AMP/bin/AMP.Connect?C=10493&F=0&M=CINF&N=0&LG=1&I=13&RQS=C~10493^M~FEAT^LG~1^I~13^G~G ). We chose the types 787131-3 (plugs) and 787191-1 (backshell kits for the plugs). They were purchased from a local AMP retailer who ordered them as samples. I don't know if there are other manufacturers for these connectors but I believe they are best known as SCSI VHDCI connectors. BTW, probably the best way to get sharp photographs of small objects like those connectors is to use a scanner. It doesn't matter much if the object isn't exactly flat. Parts of it which are 1 cm above the scanner glass still look pretty sharp in the picture. -- Tero Häkkinen Tampere University of TechnologyElectronics Laboratory -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
