The Pixera Picolo (www.pixera.com) is a very small CMOS camera that the CarlaZone mobile cam (www.thesync.com/carlazone) used to use as part of the NogaTech (www.nogatech.com) Video on the Go PCMCIA package. The camera was really small, but the image was very bad. The CarlaZone "upgraded" to the NogaTech USB camera that is thicker than the Picolo, but uses CCDs and looks a million times better. The professional "lipstick" cameras (that cost $1500 and up) have amazing image quality in a very small package. For instance, the Sony DXCLS1/1 had 470 lines resoltion HyperHAD CCD in a 11mm diameter head. -Thomas Thomas Edwards The SyncVideo for the Net Generation http://www.thesync.com 312 Laurel Avenue 1.301.438.7281 Laurel, MD 20707 -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
