My wearable's display

Well! It's been long enough, but now I finally have set up my camcorder
crt HMD. Now it just needs to be mounted and 2 problems corrected.
Problem 1... Well no matter where the input comes from (N64, Other
Camcorder, VCR) there is what looks like a "wave" on the screen. It just
rolls from the bottom up, distorting the image like someone put a pizza
roller underneath the display. I tried the onboard controls on the
viewfinder, but no luck it making it any better, only worse instead.
Problem 2....Mounting!!! I want to mount it using my Star diagonal from
my Telescope, but I have the problem of looking at a mirrored image. Now
I could buy, or make (me, make? Ha!) the part which corrects the image,
but I'd rather do this via a modification on the board (switching wire
positions?) or software on the PC to reverse the image, though using
another mirror would probably do the trick, though it would take up more
room.
Help! Suggestions......
