Okay, a couple of things regarding equipment at the wearbash, and more generally what we'll be getting up to. There's no set schedule, or any particular structure at all. I don't know what everyone wants to make of the event - partly it will be a social one, an opportunity to meet people and get a picture of what everyone is doing. It will almost certainly be a hottub of ideas and brainstorming too. I don't know how many people want to get down to actual fiddling. There's a couple of things I'd like to try out (Paul, I'd like to play with that serial LCD hooked up to my rig prior to getting my own. Is it a Matrix Orbital model?). Neill is bringing his kit, which makes for one working wearable. With any luck, my own should finish coming together on the day. Anyway, my general direction with this - I'll be bringing along anything of interest I can put my hands on, both software and hardware. I'm suggesting others do the same. I have the feeling that having everyone together in a room with a collection of gadgets (not to mention soldering irons and screwdrivers) will get great things to happen by themselves - whether we end up playing with things, or wetware interfacing, or whatever. Perhaps veterans from the SF meet etc could offer us Brits some advice, we're new at this :-) Martin (bringing: EVA-00 wearable (see 'Coredump!' post), GPS, tools, 24-port hub, and any bits and pieces that particularly catch my eye as I glance around the room on Friday morning...) -- -----[ Martin J.
