It uses a Cyrix MX 2 proc which I doubt is energy efficient. I my experience Cyrix procs were pretty poor in ability. Otherwise I am not sure. This brings up an interesting topic for wearables though. After all, most have the wearable on whenever possible which means a ram drive is feasible if little information needs to be stored locally. Else that information can be sent to a host via rf/ir/etc when in range. This is similiar to a PDA like the philips nino running ce. If the battery fails all info is lost. Only the os is in non-volatile mem. The thinkNIC has usb ports. With some good usb interface solution chips coming about, an RF interface for it is feasible.
