I tend to just ask them. In all seriousness though, going around with a visible laser is just asking to get yelled at left and right. I bike home with a light clipped to my hat (lost my bicycle light hehe) and I know that annoys people as I say hi to them in passing - a laser just adds to the 'hey thats dangerous!' factor that will be yelled at you. Now, something that isn't visible, would be perfectly acceptable. that said, has anyone noted that the first computer to be carryhing the transmeta crusoe is the sony picturebook? (if i'm not mistaken) - that little bugger has some impressive specs, but is fairly well known to be a power hog. I can't wait to see some stats on improved battery life (actual - not specifications sheet numbers). My toshiba Libretto 50CT fits in my pocket, and this picturebook is just a little bit bigger in each direction (and a little thinner) - definite wearable applications for the glamourous and rich, without losing the ability to use it 'as is'. Sincerely, Martin Norland (note - this was just me getting an excuse to start ranting about that puppy, I'm addicted) -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org
