Sony has stated (last week) that they intend to release a Transmeta based
laptop late next month. Just FYI....

You can't buy ANY products utilizing the Transmeta chip until December of
this year or the first quarter of next year if i remember properly. First
devices will be by IBM and either Toshiba and Sony I believe... Please
correct me if I am wrong anybody, as is usually the case  :)
