At www.sarrio.com these is a "Universal" battery pack you can buy for about $250US, that says it can output anything from 5-24VDC, and can use just about any jack type power connector (i.e., something you might find for a handheld game). AND, you can buy the correct power connectors at your local radio shack. However, I have not used this, I just found it. I am still working on acquiring parts when I have spare money.
