RE: External battery for twiddler?

Ok, so I guess this has evolved into: does a USB ps/2 adapter work in Linux?
I am using RedHat 6.0 with the kernel updated to 2.3.16 for sound support on
the VAIO (it's a Z505RX with a NeoMagic256 sound/video chip). Will a USB to
ps/2 adapter work with this setup (and is it easy to set up?) because if it
will then I can get a twiddler2.

Ideas?

No, you see I got it from the office and so I can't sell it :). I know it's
harder to hack than a lot of other laptops but it's what I've got. I don't
have a lot of money to spend on it right now.

Hmmmm that's an expensive unit to hack into a wearable, you could get a
cheap surplus or S/H PC104 setup if you sold it.

Depending on which Viao it is even a Magio/Amity/Libretto would be an
easier hack...
