That's a case of hindsight = 20/20. I specifically ordered a mops board without the onboard VGA since at the time I was planning to have the P4 plugged into it (which doesn't like to share with onboard video). The joke was on me, though, as the P4 won't work on the MOPS board for whatever reason. It works fine on a 386 pc104 board I have, though. (BTW any suggestions on how to install linux on a 2Meg RAM 386 system? An older distro ought to allow it, no?) So now I have a used GD5420 pc104 board with an unknown amount of RAM. Despite that chip being listed in the list of adapters in Xconfigurator and XF86Setup, I can get neither to actually start an X session. Experimenting continues. Don P http://aeinnovations.com
