It has been suggested on this list (by Vaughan Pratt, I think) that you can easily crack open a camcorder battery and distribute the cells around your body with everything hunky-dory as long as you use the electronics from the battery to manage the cells the exact same way they were managed in the case. I suppose you could do this with a laptop battery as well.. -Chris
