hi, I don't have a wearable computer of my own, however, I did write a driver for the newton keyboard a while ago that allowed me to use it with my psion and geofox palmtops, I know there're also drivers for use with winCE. I found it to be very easy to use and it didn't do any appreciable damage to my battery life for the times that I used it. I believe I still have the information on the interface and keyscan codes. feel free to contact me if you'd like a copy. I also have the specs for the rs422 -> rs232 adapter if anyone needs it. hope this helps, james << Hi all, Has anyone here successfully interfaced an Apple Newton keyboard with their wearable? It looks very promising - a serially driven (almost) full-layout keyboard, that is only about 4" x 10" in size. >From what I've pieced together on the net, it "talks" at 9600 8N1... but I've connected mine to a terminal and see mostly garbage coming out of it. I've yet to really "dig in" and start analyzing what it's sending, and thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has had some experience with these things. - Mike K. >> -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org
