This is kinda big but a lot smaller than I was fearing. I've seen some truly massive dev boards for sale on embedded manufacturer sites. Since the power requirements are almost non-existent on the MachZ chip, this might make a sweet wearable for emacspeak computing if you could shut the graphics chips on the dev board down to zero power. Can that be done? Is a 586 at 133MHz fast enough for Via Voice Outloud? (dev board comes with Soundblaster) Or should I use a PC/104 Doubletalk module in the dev board's PC/104 slot?
