Hi,

Has anybody looked at the batteries used for profesional video
equipment?

I was looking through a B&H Photo Video catalog that came in the
mail, http://www.bhphotovideo.com, and came across them.

You can get battery packs, belts to hold them, chargers, quick
chargers, etc. Voltages seam to be 7.2V or from 12-14.4V.
Wattages range from 40W to 100W a battery packs. Battery types
are Lead-Acid, NiCD, NiMH, or Li-Ion. One of the multi pack
belts has a 28A @ 12V capacity. At 10W draw they give it a 25
hour usefull life.

I was thinking one could get a 1 or two pack belt and add a
third pouch to place the wearable in.

I'll have to look into them to see what the power connectors are.
They seam to come with very standard power connections.
