when connected to a test your speed site downloading a 30k gif:
Your throughput 1420 cps
Typical 14.4K 1700 cps
Typical 28.8K 3400 cps
Typical 33.6K 4000 cps
Typical 42K 5000 cps
Typical 50K 6000 cps

when connected, dialup networking says 19.2
sprint dialer says 14.4: nothing ever appeared on the phone like
in the manual to say how fast the connection was.

19200 is the rate of the connection between your computer and
the phone. The rate of the connection between your phone and
the network is displayed on your phone and will be either 14400
or 9600.

Data calls on BAM can use #777 I am told, whereas I can't find a similiar
for sprint, yet data calls to my ISP are charged as Wireless Web Calls,
for an exorbitant price, yet another reason why sprint is so popular ;|
