Hi Bryan,

Also check batteries and packs used for electric model aircraft. I've
just started getting into the hobby myself; they'd make for great custom
stand-by power sources, for embedded UPS functions. They're designed for
the deep discharge, continuous high-current requirements of driving
electric motors as fast as they'll go. Depending on the number and type
of cells in the pack, this can easily be about 15-20A over 5-10 minutes,
at voltages from 6V on up.

Andrew.
