The reason I went with the qualcom 860 is : 1. I need a cell phone 2. I need to hook up to both the pilot and the laptop 3. the service is a 10$ add on to my cell plan, not an additional=20 40$/month=20 4. it feeds off my already existing cell phone minutes (and I have free nights and weekends) The advantages of the CDPD service over the phone : 1. it is faster 2. it is always on 3. it connects directly to the device, no cables to run. -Seth -- "It is by will alone I set my mind in motion" --9zSXsLTf0vkW971A Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE4nYo0b7uZReU5w0URASl6AKCC6crNMfs4RybtBXRzciP1fCmuVgCfSzUq CEZkNpkJi1Ek0lqB3FEhXpM= =eYGY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --9zSXsLTf0vkW971A-- -- Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org
