The enclosure is about 1 x 1.5 inches, and there is a scan button. I was thinking about ripping this apart and popping off the scan button, then controlling that button with a digital switch. This is part of my "dymanic interconnection" dream where software can switch between the audio sources. If I can figure out how to switch between multiple audio sources I could use software to connect the FM radio to my ear phone, then switch to mp3, then switch to connecting a cellular phone to the earphone and microphone. I could also use small relays to switch the power to peripherals. I could use software to switch on the FM radio, connect the audio from the FM radio to my earphone, and even "press" the scan button via software ... Here is a circuit that can switch between audio sources (and video too!) but it's way too big. http://www.controlanything.com/html/asel.htm What I need is to do this on a much smaller scale. I think I saw some chips at the analog devices web site that can do the same. The relay switching for power might me one of the ways to leverage the dallas semi 1-wire microlan: they have very tiny digital switches that can attach to relays. -- Doug -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org please, Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/false domain
