i've made this info primarly for the Palm Stowaway Keyboard => Compaq iPAQ (Linux) interface, but - using the serial port - i think it is of general interest for wearable use as well. ---- I've put the information on how to interface a Palm Stowaway Foldable Keyboard to the iPAQ running Linux at: http://www.kom.e-technik.tu-darmstadt.de/~rac/personal/HOWTO/SER_PALM_KBD/ser_palm_kbd.html it can be used with every serial input port - so other use cases are possible as well. Schematics and source code are provided at the WWW page. comments and improvements are of course welcome. regards ralf -- Best regards, Ralf Ackermann --------------------------------------------------------------- Hosting the IP Telephony Field Trial for the Darmstadt Region --------------------------------------------------------------- Ralf Ackermann _Industrial Process and |/ | | |\/| Merckstrasse 25 System Communications |\ |_| | | 64283 Darmstadt, Germany Tel.: (+49) 6151 16-6888 Fax: (+49) 6151 16-6152 --------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.kom.e-technik.tu-darmstadt.de/~rac --------------------------------------------------------------- -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
