What is involved in driving these things from a PC ... via a serial or parallel or USB port? I've built serial to parallel converters for driving small LCDs, so I assume I would be capable of using these devices as well. Could you give me an overview of the hardware interface and the protocol, or maybe give me a URL to something like that?
