I haven't followed this thread, so I'm just making an assumption that you're
referring to Ball Grid Arrays. In my experience, they aren't hard to solder,
they're impossable to solder. They can even be hard to get onto a fab board
unless you REALLY know what you're doing, and have quite a bit of specialized
equipment.
