Xybernaut(R)'s MA IV(R) Featured on FOX Network's 'The X-Files'

Placement Part of Xybernaut's Aggressive Marketing Plan to Bring Its
Wearable Computer Into the Mainstream

FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq: XYBR),
the leader in wearable computing solutions, announced today that FOX
network's hit sci-fi television show, The X-Files, will be running an
episode this coming Sunday that features its product, the Mobile
Assistant(R) IV (MA IV). In the episode titled "First Person Shooter,"
characters will be wearing the head-mount display configuration in a virtual
reality game where "Mulder and Scully must battle with a deadly digital
character to save their lives." Previews have already begun running this
week on the FOX Network. The episode will air this Sunday, February 27th at
9 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT. For a sneak preview of some shots from the episode,
visit THE X-FILES site located on FOX's site at http://www.fox.com and
select "X-Files" under the shows selection to the right, then select "new
photos, First Person Shooter."

Edward G. Newman, president and CEO of Xybernaut Corporation, stated,
"Xybernaut was the first to market with a wearable PC, so it seems only
fitting that FOX selected the MA IV as the wearable PC of choice in this
exciting gaming episode. Although our product is used in a fictional story
line for a use quite different from that of our current customers, this kind
of coverage and exposure is important in getting the consumer used to seeing
a computer in a wearable form factor. With the swift convergence of
computing and communication devices, we expect this 'cameo' will be the
first in many other product placements our company is working on with other
film and television production companies."

Robin Bono, director of corporate communications, commented, "This product
placement on The X-Files adds to our recent string of favorable press
coverage in such notable publications as PC Computing, Popular Mechanics,
and CNN Interactive. We have been working aggressively to get our product
into the hands of product reviewers and television and movie producers with
the goal of raising awareness among the general public for the Mobile
Assistant as a mainstream form factor. IBM's recent wearable computing
commercials have also helped to get people comfortable with this next
computing-forward design. The more people see a wearable computer in every
day life, the more they will become comfortable with it and begin selecting
it as their computing form factor of choice."
