To the best of my knowledge, you can get an evaluation kit from almost any
of the display companies, most are pretty pricey though. I still think the
M2 is the best product out there right now, but it’s $5000. I’m still on
the hunt for a 5.5” or 6.5” LCD flat panel touch screen. Unfortunately, the
Xybernaut lcd is what I want, but the connection is proprietary, not that it
can’t be changed. I have been trying to find an off-the-shelf, but no luck
so far with what I want. And most seem to be 640x480 and smaller.
You also might want to stay away from anything that mentions pointing a
laser directly into your eye.

Everything else seems too cyborg-ish. Nothing against cyborgs mind you! I
would rather have a display that is as subtle as possible. I am amazed that
this technology is slow in arriving. It seems rather simple. Does anyone
know if microoptical is willing to sell these devices upon request?
