Please observer that the heat differential between a hot cup of coffee
and environment is a lot higher than between you and environment. It should
be possible to power a small power source with body heat (using 
thermoelectricity, try a Peltier in inverse mode) or pyroelectricity, but
I'm rather betting on pezoelectricity. It is only a question of time until
some LED blinking sport shoes are powered with a piezo flexing foil. Now
getting the power to your fannypack will require some copper in your 
trousers...

I presume you mean CuInSe_2 (actually Mo/CuInSe_2/CdS/ZnO) cells.
While certainly very cool and interesting, I wouldn't say "mere pennies"
in that context.
