I'm not surprised it's being done, what I'd rather like to see is where I can buy a pair of Adidas with power connectors, and a matching pair of trousers which will survive daily wear & tear, plus a dozen of wash cycles. DIY, all of it, is a rather nontrivial enterprise. (I don't even have a sewing machine).
