hurray i suggested something useful for once, haahhhh , it feels nice to be a revolutionary (OK so it was a good idea, but revolutionary well.... ) see kids (those of you "lurking") its fun to contribute when you try to serve a purpose! well years from now i can say "hey ya know that wearable computing convention they showed on the news (world news that is , oh yeah the big time, shagadelic baby yeah!) well I threw that idea out to everyone in the group and they loved it !" then the kids will say "yeah right Grandpa" then I will project a 3d web/file browser in front of me and pull up the old mail logs and say "i guess ya owe me 5 bucks now" but instead of 5 bucks it will be called "(insert favorite futuristic sounding word here)" and I will probably give it back anyway. OK enough of my self illumination inspired by the sheer glee of having partial responsibility for something that could be the worlds most important tech con. someday I was wondering if IWCS could sponsor us somehow by trying to get former local IWCS attending companies to donate materials like cable (for awhile ofcourse) and tech help in exchange for a bannerspace in the building promoting their business and we would volunteer some of our people for tech displays (show off the dimm pc for awhile to corporate and student kinds) and keynotes. volunteer as in people must first volunteer and the group cant expect anyone to speek. or do we need all this crap any ways, is it possible that we could do it all by ourselves like we have been for years? no wait drop everything, I got the perfect solution, we form regional boards and get those boards to apply at the local star collage for funding and sponsoring then the school gets the recognition they want and good press too, then maybe more tech students and proffessors would come as well ! hurray! ok ,so what do u guys think? :) cordially cordless -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org please, Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/false domain
