Whoa, when's the last time you saw daylight? Take a breath. Please remember yesterday was April 1st. And as I have yet to find any other mention of this situation anywhere else, I'm taking it as a joke until otherwise proven. I don't take anything serious on April 1st. -----Original Message----- From:[mailto:

Subject: link to a recent story about canadian bio scare and wearable user I read another article linked to the article on about.com some one posted on the list and I was infuriated, absolutely pissed off ! royally bubbling!!! about the most outrageous statement I have ever heard and it made me wanna screw his ( butt-hole mentionend following this paragraph) life up so bad (drain his bank #,put false warrants out for his arrest, frame him for trying to breaking into the following computer systems:NASA, NSA, CIA, FBI, ATF, NTSB and lastly but not least, Mc Donalds.) I had to count to 10 and breathe deeply!!!!!!!! Then I realised I was a civilized, intelligent, well articulated person. And that it was immoral and wrong, and mostly illegal !!! anyways heres the scoop: start of eccerpt below Wearable Computer user refused to undress for mass decontamination Yesterday's incident showed the problems that wearable computers can create when trying to process large numbers of disease carrying persons, or suspected cases. Body worn electrical equipment presents a unique decontamination dilemma. Because wearable computers are often used as prostheses, to monitor heart, respiration, and other physiological parameters, and like eyeglasses, by the visually impaired to see, a victim may not be able to safely evacuate an area without the apparatus. A wearable computer user may feel dizzy or disoriented when the system is removed, and cannot safely evacuate an area. Moreover, some persons using wearable computers in ordinary day-to-day life are not accustomed to undressing in front of strangers. The police spokesman said ``Computer geeks are the kind of people who never played sports in school, and never got used to the idea of undressing and showering in front of their team mates. When people refuse to undress, this creates a serious problem. We need to bring back the good old days of mandatory physical education in schools and mandatory delousing and hygiene inspections. People got no business wearing computers. Wearable computers are a stupid idea.'' END of eccerpt. oh yeah if wearables are such a stupid idea then so was landing on the moon, pursuing the design of stealth aircraft, creating the H-bomb (ok so there was that little period of time that still lingers today affectionately known as the "cold war" that started after its creation, but the bomb saved the free world!and yet continues to plague it), the creation of the integrated-chip, paleontology all feilds, the creation of the cellual phone, the creation of IBM PC platform standard, the lightbulb, the deisel engine, the condom, the bullett proof vest, the airplane(it was probably argued that people had no buisseness flying with God's winged creatures! when Write brothers started work on what is now a trillion dollar industry), the CT scan(medical test), the Comact Disc, the auto flushing toilet, and more importantly the WWW on the internet!!!!!!!!!!!! who was it that said people will never want computers in their home?, oh yeah some big wig at a super computing firm in the 70's who just 10 years later or less (were talkin 1985 or so when radioshack and TI and commodore brought there products to market)was proved wrong in about several billion instances.and he was part of the industry! BTW: cellular phones are the predacessor to the wearable pc and for his information I happen to be a geek and I'm proud of it and I weigh just over 300 lbs. 6'2" and played football at school (in the hottest weather of the U.S. in Texas in 1998 - 1999 where average temps were 99 on the coolest part of the day and 106 at noon which is win practice was and that is no exageration etheir go look it up) till I was enrolled in home-school and HELL NO I never got use to undressing in front of team mates partly cuz I'm fat! but still I prefer modesty over exabbition!!!!! And if you have to do hiegeine inspections then there's something wrong with the parents of the nation!!! I am probably gonna seek anger therapy over this! in which case I may be able to sue the depot, nahhhhh. But may I remind you that this spokes person comes form the nation that thought that if a law was passed prohibbiting owner ship of a gun to anyone , criminals would suddenly follow the rules and turn in the tools that help rob people, murder people, carjack people and whatever other violence is perfomed. There must be something about all that cold weather that makes the weaker breed peoples' of Canadas brain move slower than molasess in the croutch of Hillary Clinton (oooooooowe gross sorry for the visual and the awful put down. that was wrong of me) ofcourse not all Canadians are that way,no hardly that way at all, just politicans and law enforcement spokes- persons ,hehehehehehehe hohohohohohoho hahaha, ahhhh, good times eah.It sucks that the dumber people of a nationality or race give everone the same bad rap. ofcourse that is also the fualt of the same dumb people cuz the smart ones dont generalize. it is this man's way of thinking that keeps him at an average income, everyone succesful in life has to work hard with what they have and be open to the suggestion of change , otherwise you become the fat ,the wasted, the want nots of society, unless your a good liar, then your a politician -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
