RE: Hotmail TOS

I can't believe this got here.
Read it (The TOS) carefully, this "All your I.P. are belong to us" applies
only to material posted to public forums or sent directly to tech support.
They can't read your mail (barring other and also questionable rules
regarding legal requests and in the best interests of hotmail defending
itself), or look at your messages. I agree that there is a lot of other bad
legalese in the TOS which hasn't yet been tested in court and is very shady,
but this fear of them stealing any ideas that pass through e-mail is
ludicrous.
This of course if spoken as an annoyed tech agnostic who has no love for MS
nor hate for them. I just hate fear mongering idiots who speak first and
read later. Not to bash anyone here but you should know better than to
propogate their efforts.

I agree with Bryan, flood the tech support complaining about the TOS, but
complain about the right things in that the real issues in there are a mess.
Don't rant about them reading your e-mail cause you will be ignored I bet.

M$ terms of service are against current law and international treaty.

Just because the contents of a work I write ends up on a hotmail
users account, dosen't change it's copyright ownership or the rights
I have to control it's distribution.

On the other hand, flood their EMail support address with complaints
about their terms of service. Also make sure you spread the word far
and wide to any news outlet and senator/representitive you know of.
The more stink that is raised, the better.
