I have been severely distracted in recent weeks.
Apparently there IS life outside of wearable computing :)

I'm going to built it from the article specs. This is
what I always wanted to do but did not have the specs.
It's a lot more satisfying to build rather than buy,
and gives you a better appreciation and understanding
of how the technology works.

It appears that the AD624AD can be ordered online Analog Devices
http://products.analog.com/products/links/models.asp?product=AD624

I also see them available in the UK from Dial Electronics
http://www.dialelectronics.co.uk/a3.htm

I have seen the disposable cardio electrodes avaialable at
countless vendors on the web for cheap, and it appears that
they can also be home brewed with a little creaitivity.

The AD624AD produces analog output, therefore if you want
to digitize the signal an A/D converter is required. It
appears that both my 10-bit BX24 microcontroller onboard
ADCs and my 12-bit TLC2543CN ADCs are adequate for this.
