The good folks at HandyKey asked me this: > PS Just to share some of our imagination: We are wondering if one could > drive a car (we mean get rid of the steering wheel and pedals, etc. and > DRIVE with a T2 :) hehehehe. I don't know about getting rid of steering wheels and such, but I have driven a car while twiddling. I was filmed by Danish TV station TV2 Zulu in front of Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose. They asked me to drive their rental car while using not only Twiddler2 but also the M1 over one eye! I can't say its safe, but I can say it has been done (but don't tell my mother). All I did was drive around the circle in front of the museum. That footage was part of a new Danish TV series called Raketfart (translates to space travel) that began in february. http://zulu.dk/?type_id=1047&nony=1 They sent me a VHS tape of the show, but I haven't looked at it yet. I also have tapes of some other TV stuff, one of those tapes shows me controlling my home, switching on the lights and TV, and moving cameras, while on the sidewalk in san francisco 60 miles away. I really want to digitize these tapes and create mpegs but I don't have the proper tools. I tried using a hauppage WinTV card but the results were poor. Hopefully I can get those tapes digitized soon so I can show you some of my wearable tricks. -- Doug PS. I'm not quite ready to ditch the steering wheel yet ... :) -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org please, Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/false domain
