I thought it might be for something like the weirdX/wiredX Java Xserver,
which is similar to Hummingbird or XWinPro for WindozeAPI;
allowing an X server to be run, so that a X session can be established on
any machine which supports Java.  Remote X is wonderful, _IF_ VPN'ed  : )
