Michael, > Has anyone on the list played with an Arcom MediaGX board? PCM-5822 audio is not as loud as my old Crystal-MM PC/104 sound card (speaker outputs), but sound quality is good. When I plug the audio line outs into my platinum sound amplified speakers with subwoofer and satellites, it sounds great. I have obsoleted TVs and traditional stereos. Wearable plus linux box with WinTV card is all I need. Cell phone is next on the obsolescence list :) > What drivers are you guys using for your sound? Check your bios irqs and ioports and try this (SB16 driver config): /sbin/modprobe sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=0 dma16=5 mpu_io=0x330 Check /proc/dma /proc/ioports etc and look for conflicts.
