Doug, I notice you have a 200mhz cpu in your 'fashion wearable', do you have any problems with heat? I have a 233mhz intel pentium MMX, and it's getting waaaaay too hot. Off-list, Philip Tung-Yep has suggested that I get a later stepping model AMD cpu or a laptop specific socket 7 cpu, and clock them back, as 233 is the limit on this board. Do you think that would work if I got say a 400 or 500mhz AMD K62 or 3 and popped it in clocking it back to 233? (I can't think of problem myself, provided that my board can supply the correct voltages). I hypothesize that given the underclocking of a higher MHZ rated CPU that core temperatures should come down quite a bit. What are your thoughts? -M@ At 10:31 2/05/01 +0000, you wrote: >A while ago someone said that Apple is the only one who knows how >to make sexy packaging for computers. Apple Shmapple.
