I was reviewing MIThrill for the seven-hundredth time and came up with the
bright idea I could use a x86 (386 pc104) for input like twiddler, jpeg frame
grabber/camera , usb host/and slave , floppy?, ATA or dma IDE? , and a
modified pcmcia or pc104 video card?(AGP x1 with SBA bus handling data
requests and AD bus only doing geometry, and overclock the AD bus from 66mhz
to maybe 83mhz, that way I keep the AGP's AD bus uncongested and running with
a slight fever! )
anyways I wanna run linux and I was thinking it maybe possible to telnet in
via ethernet and do an X session with a faster processor pda like StrongARM
like IPAQ or Mips like a Casio E-100 (I got one of these)
of course there isnt a huge advance with a 133mhz Mips (E100) but it would
help later on when I get the big cahuna of StrongARM pda's the IPAQ

well tell me what ya think and what if any resources may help me with
distributed processing schemes
a hookup I saw one time a guy had windows2000 running with a server running
so his hacked up Win Internet Appliance could interface with the Win2000 so
Win2000 would do everything including handle any data his mic enabled sound
card(pcmcia) put in or camera card or whatever

I am not talking about VNC, but rather making a 386 a bus expaspansion device
and interface to a faster different architexture
