It's definitely time for a wearable display FAQ to be made, perhaps I should
do that, I have most of the info. The smallest VGA display I'm aware of is
Toshiba LTM04C380K at 117.9 x 72.5 x 6.4 mm (4 inch diagonal). The pinouts
look like standard 18-bit TFT (6 bits/color), so I think it will work with
most SBC graphic controllers with flat panel support. It's $500 USD and
requires shipping from UK.

All of the other small flat panel LCDs I have seen are QVGA resolution.
And I haven't seen any VGA chip-on-glass displays. I use NEC 6.4" VGA.
Advantech has a PrimeView (PVI) 6.4" TFT LCD kit with panel, backlight
inverter, and cable for direct connect to PCM-5822 for $500.
