I was going to suggest Kevin Warwick as someone who was very enthusiastic
about modifying himself, but I see that you are from Reading so will know
all about him. Of course, he's already modified himself (and Mrs. Warwick)
with an implanted ID tag.

Hi all,

I'm doing some research into the attitudes towards the modification of the human body through technology (bioengineering, prostehitcs, neural implants, nano tech, genetic engeneering etc, integration with wearables) and I was wondering if any of you would like to modify your bodies in the future when/if the technology becomes available?

I'd be interested to know what you think about the body if you do want to modify. I hypothesise that those who see the body as a mechinical/cybernetic system will not be too bothered about modifying their body, while those who see the body as sacred etc will disagree with modifying technology.

Any comments, links that you know of that might be useful? I'm trying to locate people who are against these types of modifications - do any of you know of anyone/site/articles?

Thanks very much!
