Re: Ricochet update- Auction

Technically, they were designed to work in quarter mile cell.  The key to
distance is how cluttered the RF path is. A line of sight path with both
radios can see each other, I have done 11 miles with RSSI levels of -89
to -92 dBm.

The antenna on the brick is about 1 dBi or 0 dBi.  You could alwasy put a
higher gain antenna on the unit if you want to get creative with a soldering
iron.
