I'm considering getting a cool roadrunner as the base for my wearable. If this seems to be a problem, perhaps I will do my install via NFS or FTP. Another option to try for you windows users is to mount the hard drive in a different system, and copy the contents of the windoze CD to a partition on the drive, and format the partition you wish to install to as bootable dos. I did this with my iopener and it worked great, leaving me able to do the installation without any CD drive attached.
