Just discovered that detailed information about Advantech's PCM-9370 is now available at their website: http://www.advantech.com/products/PCM-9370.asp It's the Transmeta-based 3.5" single board computer - same form-factor as the PCM-5822. Audio and TV-out is a separate, plug-in module on this board; the board has TWO LCD headers... Imagine being able to drive the HUD microdisplay LCD directly and standard-size LCD panel off the same board Doug. :-) http://www.advantech.com/products/PCM-5822.asp ...doesn't show up on the price-list yet though. Processing horse-power in an affordable embedded package... Could be that desktop-replacement you're looking for, Melanie. Aside: I'm still intrigued by the StrongArm options coming into the market - not as much processing power, but certainly more bang-per-Watt than other options - Bitsy is on the order of a couple of 1/2 Watts, versus the 10W of this Transmeta board. See: http://www.applieddata.net/products_bitsySpec.asp Also, if you fill out the e-mail address in the "BitsyDocuments" form, you are e-mailed the links to the more detailed PDF documentation.
